Rafael Nadal finishes the season at the top of the ATP ranking, relaying his runner-up Novak Djokovic far behind. Dominic Thiem scratches a place to finish 4th.

With 9.985 points, Nadal, who was unable to reach the semi-finals of the London Masters, relegated the Serb, also eliminated in pool, more than 800 points (9.145).
