“The signing on behalf of the EU of the Agreement on the facilitation of issuing visas between the European Union and Belarus from that moment is permitted as soon as the preparation of its text is completed. The text of the agreement will be published along with the official decision on its conclusion, ”the document reads out in the EU Official Journal.
Earlier, the Kremlin appreciated the plans of Belarus to simplify the visa regime with the EU, noting that this decision is an internal affair of Minsk.
In September it was reported that Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko decided to sign agreements with the European Union regarding simplified visa issuance and readmission.
