"I'm not asking him anything, I just want to get my daughter back because Jana, that's all for me", testified very moved Ilham Tarbouni. Five years ago, she saw her only daughter Jana for the last time. The child was taken by force to Syria by his father and his new partner. In July 2015, the father fighting in the ranks of the Islamic State dies. His companion Jihane Makhzoumi decides to return to France. She crossed the border in September 2016 with her biological children and without the little Jana.

"I already had a confrontation with Jihane," said Ilham Tarbouni. She explains, "It was specifically to get information about Jana, I know that Jihane knows where Jana is, with whom, but she does not tell the truth ... That's the problem."

The accused explained to her relatives that it was too dangerous for her to go and get Jana, who was entrusted to another family. She says she has no information about the whereabouts of the girl who should be 8 years old today.
