American rapper Kanye West has announced he will expand his musical repertoire to opera with the creation of a production called "Nebuchadnezzar", which will be presented in Los Angeles on November 24th.

The California Hollywood Bowl, announced that the tickets would go on sale Monday.

Kanye West tweeted this weekend an illustration announcing the new production, starring the "Sunday Service" choir, with which the Chicago singer has multiplied the thrilling religious services this year.

The opera will be directed by Italian artist Vanessa Beecroft, a time Kanye West's right hand on her brand Yeezy.

The title of the opera refers to the Babylonian Nebuchadnezzar, whom Kanye West compared in a recent interview, asserting that like him, this ancient king had suffered from bipolarity.

"Nebuchadnezzar was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and he remained king," Apple rapper, who has recently proclaimed himself "the greatest living human artist," was assured.

For some observers, the resurgence of faith that the artist testifies, like this opera, but also his latest album "Jesus is King", would be deeply linked to his personal fight against bipolarity, to which he multiplies the allusions .

Although the Bible does not directly refer to the bipolarity of King Nebuchadnezzar, the Book of Daniel refers to a period during which the latter suffered from mental disorders and agitated dreams.
