After a day of Saturday marked by freshness and humidity, the day Sunday should not save the weekend, despite clearings observed in part of France late afternoon. The departments of Landes and Pyrénées-Atlantiques are vigilant orange rain-flood.

The weather will be disturbed again on Sunday, marked by an orange vigilance for rain-flooding in the Landes and Pyrénées-Atlantiques, accompanied by snow at a very low altitude in the east, forecast Météo-France. From Alsace to Jura to Rhône-Alpes, the sky will cover in the morning, with snow before noon, from 300 meters above sea level on the south of the Vosges and Alsace, and punctually in plain. The quantities will be small but sufficient to whiten the soil. In the Northern Alps and the Prealps, the snow-line is 400 to 500 meters, and Météo-France predicts 5 to 10 cm of snow.

Disturbance of disturbances to the west

These precipitations are going during the day to shift slowly towards the west, on Lorraine, Franche-Comté and Auvergne, at the end of the afternoon. South of the Garonne, the weather will remain rainy, with fewer showers than in recent days. The rain-snow limit will go back a little on the Pyrenees, varying between 900 and 1,300 meters.

The Breton tip and the coasts of the Channel will also undergo showers during the day, in a flow of very fresh north. In the rest of the country, grisaille will dominate, especially in the western half. Some morning fog will alternate with drizzle, and snowfall on the Massif Central.

Snow in Corsica

In the afternoon, the thunderstorms will extend from the Hauts de France to the Ile-de-France and Burgundy, with a stronger cloud resistance to the west. The sky will be brighter on the Mediterranean rim. In Corsica, the showers on the west of the island, will turn into snow from 1,200 to 1,500 meters.

The minimum temperatures will remain low in the north and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, close to 0 degrees. Further south, they will vary from 1 to 6 degrees, or even 7 or 8 in the Basque Country and near the Mediterranean. Peaks will oscillate between 4 and 8 degrees in most regions, 8 to 11 in Brittany and southwest, 10 to 15 in the Mediterranean regions.
