A poll for the Journal du Dimanche indicates the fall in popularity of Emmanuel Macron in November. The head of state had already seen his rating drop in September. On the other hand, the Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe, earns him one point.

The popularity of Emmanuel Macron loses a point in November, with 33% of French satisfied, against 65% of unhappy (+1), according to an Ifop survey for the Journal du Dimanche. The rate of those who do not vote remains stable at 2%.

This is the second time, after a decline of one point in September, the rating of the head of state is down. Its popularity has increased during the other months regularly since December 2018, when it reached 23% in full crisis of "yellow vests".

Edouard Philippe on the rise

The popularity of Prime Minister Philippe Philippe increased by one point in November, to 37%. The dissatisfied remain stable at 60%. The rate of respondents who do not vote on the Prime Minister retreats by one point, to 3%.

Survey conducted from November 8 to 16 among 1,911 people aged 18 and over, according to the quota method, by self-administered questionnaire online and by telephone. Margin of error from 1 to 2.2 points.
