Paris Saint-Germain have extended their unbeaten home defeating Flensburg 32-30 in the Champions League Handball Sunday in Coubertin, but lost one of its major players, Nedim Remili, a victim of a sprain.

The left south left the Blues left the ground in the 6th minute. His right foot had violently "turned" in a duel. He has not reappeared on the field.

Thanks to this success, PSG joins Barcelona in the lead. The Catalan club, the only one to beat the Parisians this year in 18 matches in all competitions (17 wins for the rest), will come to Coubertin in two weeks for a shock that could decide the "pole position" of the group (and direct qualification for the quarter-finals). Meanwhile, the Parisians will play Denmark against Aalborg next Sunday.

In his hall, Paris SG has not lost since 55 matches (54 wins, 1 draw) and more than two years. In the Champions League, his last failure was five years ago. He had just won Thursday a crucial match of the French Championship against Montpellier (35-30), which put him already on the way to the title.

- "a big match" -

Against Flensburg, that the teammates of the Karabatic brothers had dominated in front of his audience the previous day, ten days ago, thanks to a stoppage of Vincent Gérard at the last second, it was harder.

It took five minutes before the end for the gap to finally reach three goals on a shot from Norwegian Sander Sagosen, the best player of the game (7 goals). Parisians have managed to keep this little mattress defending well.

"It was a big game, Flensburg was there, we were able to stay strong in tough times, we had big goalkeeper saves and nice defenses," said Paris winger Dylan Nahi at BeinSports. The Spaniard kept Paris in the lead at the break (17-16) by making 10 saves in one period.

Without Remili, the only left-handed professional at his disposal, Spanish coach Raul Gonzalez used Denmark's Mikkel Hansen and Nikola Karabatic on the right. Both right handed were excellent (7 and 4 goals).

Remili will have to pass exams to know the length of his unavailability, in a busy period for his club and two months of the Euro-2020 in Norway and Sweden.
