The Sharjah Criminal Court has tried a case in which two young men of Gulf nationality were accused of driving recklessly and endangering their lives and those of others, as well as resisting and assaulting the police.

The first suspect was driving quickly, and during the pursuit of security teams cut 12 red traffic lights at a speed exceeding 160 km per hour, and almost caused two accidents run over and three serious accidents on the main roads.

The court heard the witness in the case, who confirmed that he saw the car driven by one of the defendants, cutting the red traffic signal, and behind it a car chasing and chasing it.

He continued: «during the pursuit of the defendant refused to obey patrol orders, and cut off 12 traffic signs, and almost caused a number of traffic accidents, including accidents run over and rammed the police car», noting that more than 10 police patrols pursued the defendants.
The witness pointed out that the accused collided with the pavement, which made the police patrol ahead and stopped.

He explained that he went to the vehicle and took the defendant off.

The first defendant confessed during the investigations to driving the car quickly, cutting traffic signals during his pursuit of police from Ajman to Sharjah.

The second defendant denied the resistance of the police, and confirmed that he did not participate in driving, but was sitting in the car with the first defendant and did not know his intention to drive the vehicle in a crazy way.
