Two men have climbed on Saturday the Glòries Tower of Barcelona, 145 meters high, with the intention of taking a photo on the cusp, and after descending they have been taken to the police station by the Mossos d'Esquadra, which has taken a statement but He has not stopped them.
The events have occurred shortly before 2:00 pm and the rise of the two people by the metal structure that covers the facade of the building without security measures has attracted the attention of people walking through Glòries Square, some of the which has called emergency services.
The Glòries Tower has been attended by members of the Urban Guard and Firefighters of Barcelona, who have rescued the two climbers at the top of the building and introduced them inside.
The two men have been made available to the Mossos, who have taken them to a nearby police station to identify them and take their statements, although they have not been arrested or their action is linked to any political claim, according to police sources.
It is not the first time that Glòries Tower, formerly known as Agbar Tower, is climbed by risk-loving people, and thus the climber Alain Robert, known as "the French Spiderman" has crowned it three times, in 2006, 2007 and 2016.
