Two 18-year-old men detained in Bilbao after abusing a woman and trying to steal her phone

Two young people, 18 years old, have been arrested in Bilbao for a crime against sexual freedom and attempted robbery after having cornered a woman against the wall, abused her and tried to steal her phone.

As reported by Ertzaintza, the event occurred in the early hours of this Friday when around half past four in the morning a patrol was required to assist a woman who had been assaulted by three young people in the Uribitarte area.

Apparently, the individuals approached the victim and, after cornering her against the wall violently, abused her and tried to steal her phone. The resistance offered by the young woman led the assailants to give up their attitude and flee the place.

Then, the victim requested the presence of the Ertzaintza, and after a patrol person took place, two of the three suspects were located nearby and detained for a crime against sexual freedom and for a crime against property. The two arrested were placed this Friday at the disposal of the Court of guard in Bilbao.
