“We keep in touch with regard to this issue, and we invited Russian experts to help us rebuild Notre Dame Cathedral ... We are ready to cooperate with Russia, we officially invited them, we are grateful for helping us,” said she.
The Ambassador of France added that she was “very moved by the great compassion” on the part of the Russians in connection with the fire in Notre Dame.
A major fire in the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris occurred on April 15 and lasted more than 12 hours.
According to the Ministry of Culture of France, the building was saved from destruction. The prosecutor's office in Paris believes that the cause of the fire was an unquenched cigarette or a malfunction in electricity.
