SVT Nyheter Öst has during the week examined the support for young adults with a disability. We have presented completely new figures that show a sharp increase in the number of people who lose their compensation from the Social Insurance Agency, despite having a disability.

What happens to those who are suddenly sent to the Employment Service? In our chat, there are now over 400 strong personal stories about this.

The chat is still open - go in and read or share your own story.

Here are some of the posts:

"The whole system should be redone"

“I work with financial aid and am so happy that this is noticed and reviewed. Very few of my young adult clients are able to work, an estimated 20 percent. It feels like the whole system should be redone, ”writes Stina, who works with supply support.

"It breaks our participants"

"This totally cracks our participants and risks all the work we have done together for a couple of years to break long-lasting and degrading isolation," writes Sabina, who is the director of daily operations.

"Security was withdrawn"

“My son was born with a developmental disorder and from high school to the age of 29 he was granted activity allowance. He has tried internships that have not led to anything. But from the 30th anniversary, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency estimates that he can take a full-time job in the open labor market. All of a sudden, security was withdrawn and the financial situation was ravaged, ” writes Lisbeth, a parent.

"I can no longer cope soon"

“After many shortcomings, I have realized that I will not be able to get a job. The Employment Service says it cannot help me, but the Swedish Social Insurance Agency must give me sick pay. But Försäkringskassan says no and refers me to the municipality's supply support. Soon I can no longer cope with the anxiety about my situation, ” writes Tommy, who got rid of the compensation.
