The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has signed a contract with Karim to operate 3,500 bicycles distributed over 350 stations in Dubai. This service is the first local bicycle sharing program in the region.

Under the 15-year contract, Karim will operate 1,750 bicycles and install 175 stations during the first two years of the contract, which will rise in the next five years to 3,500 bicycles and 350 stations. High-occupancy rates, linking all bikes to GPS, and using environmental sustainability, by operating solar bicycle stations, connecting them to a wireless network, and providing a leasing and payment system through the application of Cream Pike.

The service covers many vital areas such as the Marina, Jumeirah, Dubai Water Canal, Deira, Al Khawaneej and Al Qudra. Or 40 km / h safe streets, which is safe for bicycle users.

Users can access bicycles through the Kareem app, and the use of bikes varies from daily use to annual memberships at affordable prices for ordinary and pedal-assisted bikes.
