“Yesterday at 16:20 a Mi-8 helicopter equipped with a spillway took off to extinguish, and today at 12:15 a decision was made to attract a Be-200 multipurpose amphibious aircraft Be-200 EMERCOM of Russia to extinguish a fire,” the statement said.
It is noted that fire extinguishing is complicated by the terrain and strong winds.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced the introduction of an emergency regime in the forest fire area.
It was clarified that the fire occurred on November 14, more than 300 people took part in the extinguishing of the fire, almost 60 pieces of equipment were involved.
