A family has denounced the attempted abduction of an eleven-year-old girl when she went to Alborada de Alcalá de Henares School, at which point a man allegedly approached her and tried to put her in a car, and now the Police are investigating the veracity of the acts.

The complaint was filed on the 11th and the minor tells that about three o'clock in the afternoon that day was addressed in Beltolt Brech Street by a man who grabbed her from behind to put her in a car, but managed to flee, and It provides a description of the alleged aggressor, sources from the Superior Police Headquarters in Madrid have confirmed.

The National Police is investigating the facts reported and in the meantime has issued an internal note informing the patrols of the area, as usual, according to sources.

The Alborada school has sent parents a statement in which it warns of the attempted abduction and ensures that the Police will especially monitor the area, asking families to increase the precaution to avoid other cases.

Other nearby schools, such as Ernest Hemingway, have also sent a similar circular to parents.

Police sources have told Efe that the latest investigations opened for allegations of attempted child abduction - such as the two filed in October in the Lucero neighborhood of Madrid or the five filed in March 2018 in different locations - have not determined that the facts actually occurred, and in fact in one of the cases a minor acknowledged that the event had been invented.
