The German Greens are meeting from Friday evening 15 November in Congress in Bielefeld, in central Germany. The ecologists who have the wind in their sails intend to demonstrate their strength and unity.

In the polls, the Greens are credited with 20 to 25% of voting intentions, in front of the SPD and just behind the Christian Democratic party of Angela Merkel. In the CDU, the Greens are now more openly considered as the real challenger , in view of the legislative elections of 2021. Some leaders of the party call to carve the upcoming campaign in the format of the ecologist opponent.

In Bielefeld, where they meet in congress for three days, the Grünens will show their strength: no conflict of people within the ecologist party, unlike the CDU and the SPD, in the midst of debates in the polls; unity of line - for the Greens, ended the period when the proponents of a pragmatic line opposed the purists.

Only scientific questions seem to be able to debate internally: for or against compulsory vaccination, for or against homeopathy reimbursed by the health insurance funds. The only threat to the Greens, the response to ecological issues that other parties seek in turn to seize.
