This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian president.

“The law establishes the conditions for disclosing information about corruption, standardizes the procedure for disclosing information by the accuser of corruption, exemption from legal liability of accusers of corruption ... and also ensuring state protection of accusers of corruption,” the press release said.

The document was adopted in order to bring Ukrainian legislation in line with international standards and "best practices."

“The law will create a new effective system for preventing corruption based on international standards, which will help reduce corruption in the state, and consequently - the development of the economy and the growth of well-being of citizens,” Zelensky emphasized in the office.

Earlier, Zelensky announced the request of Ukrainian society for a fair punishment for top corrupt officials.

In mid-October, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on remuneration for reporting a corruption crime.

It is assumed that these persons can receive compensation in the amount of 10% of the amount of corruption crime, but not more than 3 thousand minimum wages.
