The sentence to six years becomes definitive with the recognition of the aggravating circumstance of the mafia method for Roberto Spada. The judges of the Fifth Criminal Section of the Cassation, rejecting the appeal of Spada's defense, confirmed for the clan exponent the Appeal ruling for the publication to the Rai broadcast journalist 'Nemo' Daniele Piervincenzi and the aggression of the operator Edoardo Anselmi took place on 7 November 2017 during a service in Ostia.

When the sentence was read, the mayor of the capital Virginia Raggi was present. Fimiani in the indictment this morning, asking to declare Spada's defense appeal inadmissible, underlined how all the symptomatic indicators are present for the existence of the aggravating circumstance of the mafia method. Piervincenzi and his operator Edoardo Anselmi were attacked in front of Roberto Spada's gym, in Ostia, during an interview on the electoral campaign in the X Municipio.

Approached for some questions about the alleged relations with Casapound in the municipality of Ostia, dissolved after the Mafia Capital investigation, Spada struck Piervincenzi with a violent warhead that was immortalized by the camera.

For the attack on June 18, 2018, after the inquiry carried out by prosecutor Giovanni Musaro ', Roberto Spada and Ruben Nelson Del Puerto were sentenced in first instance to six years of imprisonment for private violence and aggravated injuries with the recognition of aggravating mafia. Conviction confirmed then last 7 December in Appello per Spada. The position of the right arm, Ruben Nelson Del Puerto, was canceled, the trial of which is still ongoing in the appeal. Spada last September 24 in another proceeding, the maxi clan trial born from the Dda 'Eclissi' operation in Rome, was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Court of Assizes.
