The former president of the Royal Spanish Hunting Federation, the father of the last victim of ETA, four more military officers, the lawyer who won a lawsuit for the Franco family and the brother of the television Carmen Lomana . These are some of the new faces that Vox will contribute to the Congress of Deputies when going from 24 seats to 52 after 10-N.

The presence of soldiers in the Hemicycle will rise to at least six after the new additions. These are: Carlos Hugo Fernández-Roca , captain of the Air Force on leave and number two by Almería; Rubén Darío Vega , retired captain of the Merchant Marine, candidate for Santa Cruz de Tenerife; Rubén Manso , economic guru of Vox and lieutenant of the Army of the Earth in the reserve, number two for Malaga, and Alberto Asarta , general of division of the retired Army that headed the list for Castellón.

Alberto Asarta's service sheet includes being the most effective Spanish military officer in charge of an international mission, as he coordinated the deployment of 12,000 UN blue helmets in Lebanon between 2010 and 2012. He was awarded the Medal of Military Merit for its participation in Iraq in 2004 in the so-called Battle of Najaf, the largest combat in which Spanish military participated in peacetime.

Asarta was one of the 181 soldiers who, after hearing the Government's decision to exhume Franco , signed in July 2018 the controversial statement "Declaration of respect and relief to General Francisco Franco Bahamonde, soldier of Spain." In the brief they denounced what they considered an "infamous campaign" of "the political left and all its related means" to discredit the dictator and described the coup of 1936 as a reaction of "Spain attacked and besieged by international communism."

Asarta, Fernández-Roca, Vega and Manso join the two soldiers who already won the 28-A seat and repeat: Manuel Mestre , general lieutenant of the Air Force and number one of Vox for Alicante, and Agustín Rosety , general of retired Marine Corps brigade, at the head of the list in Cádiz.

Ángel López Maraver, former president of the Spanish Hunting Federation. THE WORLD

The defense of the hunt that Vox includes in its program will have a voice in the Congress by the hand of Ángel López Maraver , a 35-year-old from Madrid and former president of the Royal Spanish Hunting Federation, which has won his seat in Guadalajara. López Maraver, Bachelor of Audiovisual Communication and Journalism, left his position at the head of the hunters last April to integrate the Vox candidacy to the European Parliament. "If the hunters do not enter politics, the animalists win the battle," said a week before the European in the specialized publication Cazavisión .

The victims of ETA will be represented in Congress by Francisco José Alcaraz , former president of the Association of Victims of Terrorism (AVT) and Vox candidate for Jaén, and by Antonio Sálva , number one in the Balearic Islands and father of the last victim of the terrorist band in Spain. His son, the civil guard Diegó Salvá , was killed by ETA on July 30, 2009 in Calviá (Mallorca) with his companion Carlos Sáenz de Tejada , when exploiting a barnacle bomb placed in the bottom of his patrol car, in which It is the last attack signed by ETA in Spain.

Salvá, 67, and a prestigious urologist -is Balearic medal of honor and prize of the National Association of Merit Duke of Ahumada-, was presented on 28-A to the Senate, also by Vox, but did not obtain representation. Among his proposals during the election campaign, the repeal of the Law of Historical Memory and its replacement by a law of memory, dignity and justice for the victims of terrorism that prevents homage to terrorists stand out.

Francisco José Alcaraz, meanwhile, is 51 years old and was involved in the fight against terrorism when, in December 1987, ETA murdered his brother and his three three-year-old nieces with a car bomb in front of the headquarters of the Civil Guard in Zaragoza. After joining the Association of Victims of Terrorism (AVT), he presided over it between 2004 and 2008, but left office for "personal reasons." Finally, in July 2009 he left the AVT because of his discrepancies with the new management and founded Voces contra el Terrorismo, which he currently chairs.

Last February he became the only representative in the Senate by Vox after being elected by the Andalusian Parliament as a senator by regional designation. Among his interventions are the veto to two institutional statements: one against homophobia in sport for considering the writing "an ideological pamphlet" and another to support the Canary Islands after last summer's fires for including the text a reference to the fight "against the causes of climate change".

The growth of Vox in Malaga, where it has gone from one deputy to two, has allowed the entry into the Rubén Manso Congress, responsible for the Vox economic program. Doctor and graduate in Economic and Business Sciences, lieutenant in the reserve and inspector of the Bank of Spain on leave, his economic roadmap revolves around a drastic reduction of public spending of up to 24,000 million euros, the tax cut, on everything in the Personal Income Tax and in Companies, and the suppression of the Tax of Patrimony and the one of Inheritance and Donations.

This is how Manso has celebrated his seat on Twitter: "Today I have received the highest honor I can fit: to represent each and every one of my compatriots, wherever they live or what they have voted. Thank you all and the Lord, who has dear like this, despite my limitations. I count on your prayers. With God. Long live Spain! Long live the King! "

Another new face in the Hemicycle, against all odds, will be that of Juan José Aizcorbe Torra , 60, who presented himself as number two of Vox to Congress in Barcelona. A practicing lawyer, Aizcorbe was the lawyer who defended the Franco family in the lawsuit that the City of Santiago de Compostela presented asking for the return of two sculptures by maestro Mateo that were part of the Portico de la Gloria of the cathedral and that were in Meirás' pazo. Last February, Aizcorbe won the lawsuit in favor of the Franco family in the first instance.

Former high-ranking member of the Interconomy Group - he was the general legal director, HR and CEO -, in the mid-1990s he directed the Department of Studies and Programs of the PP, a party that was linked by the hand of Alejo Vidal-Quadras , former popular leader in Catalonia. In the municipal passes of May 26, he led the Vox candidacy in the City of Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid), where this party won four councilors and where he serves as spokesman.

Vox's most exotic contribution to Congress is, without a doubt, Rafael Lomana , who presents himself as an extreme athlete and rose to fame after competing in the reality show Survivors , of which he was a finalist. He has won his seat for Albacete at the expense of Citizens. Lomana - brother of Carmen Lomana , another regular of the pink press - began working on television with Jesús Calleja in 2014 in the Extreme Challenge program and has also frequented the sets of Sálvame .
