The Islamic Jihad movement confirmed that the field commander in its military wing Al-Quds Brigades Bahaa Abu Al-Ata was killed in an explosion that targeted a house in Al-Shojaeya neighborhood east of Gaza City, vowing to respond to the Israeli crime.

The Israeli army confirmed that it carried out an attack on the house of the leader of the Islamic Jihad movement in Gaza, and his spokesman Avichai Adrai on his Twitter account that a joint operation of the Israeli army and the General Security Service targeted a building inside the most prominent leaders of the Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip.

For his part, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Ashraf Al-Qidra, said that a Palestinian citizen was killed and three others were injured in an explosion in Al-Shojaeya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
