"Governance is not the responsibility of Vox." With this ruling, Santiago Abascal completely disregards facilitating the investiture of Pedro Sánchez through a vote in favor or an abstention despite not being able to govern with other parties of the center right and despite being the third political force in the country, with 52 seats , after the elections this Sunday. The Vox leader endorses any responsibility for unlocking the PP and Citizens, as they are formations that, in his opinion, share "policies" with the PSOE and can assume that sacrifice.

In a press conference this Monday, after meeting the national leadership, Abascal has been categorical in this regard and has locked any door to favor the governance of Spain. "They have voted us to make opposition and we will vote against any Government integrated or led by the PSOE," he stressed. Vox pronounces its not no .

For the unlocking, Abascal has pointed directly to the PP and has claimed that responsibility. The leader of Vox has said that he would "understand" his abstention, but he regretted that from the popular ranks make such a "little patriotic" reflection by saying that they will not. "We want to fulfill the electoral commitments," he said. And that is why "we should only contribute to the PSOE being in the opposition."

Santiago Abascal has claimed that Vox's role in this legislature is to be a "dam to contain separatism" and the "totalitarian legislation of the progress ." In addition, he has refused to help a party that puts a "sanitary cord."

That is why it assumes the commitment to be "firm opposition" to the PSOE and to exercise "close vigilance". A determination that threatens the power of having more than 50 deputies to present appeals for unconstitutionality before the Constitutional Court.

The elections have given Vox very positive results in those places where it is facilitating the governance of the regional coalition Executives between the PP and Citizens: Community of Madrid, Andalusia and the Region of Murcia.

Despite this legitimization of the polls and the collapse of citizens, Abascal has rejected that Vox will increase the demands when it comes to parliamentary or budgetary support for Isabel Díaz Ayuso, Juan Manuel Moreno or Fernando López Miras .
