Putin and Nazarbayev discuss preparations for VEES in St. Petersburg

It is noted that the parties discussed the preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in St. Petersburg.

It is reported that they also exchanged views on pressing issues of the regional and international agenda.

Earlier, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev presented Vladimir Putin with an anniversary edition of the novel “The Way of Abay” and received, in turn, a chess set. The leaders exchanged gifts as part of the meeting in Omsk at the XVI Forum of interregional cooperation between the two countries.
