  • Participation. It falls to 69.96%, almost six points less than in April

The results at the municipal level of the general elections to the Congress of November 10 draw a map that allows us to see in detail where each party won.

The debacle of Citizens, which has gone from 57 to 10 seats in Congress, translates into only seven victories among the 8,131 Spanish municipalities, with 99% data scrutinized. The most populous, Quéntar (Granada) has 783 registered

Vox, the formation that has grown the most in votes with respect to the elections of April 28, has achieved its best results in municipalities in the provinces of Murcia, Toledo, Guadalajara and Madrid. The Santiago Abascal party has won in 277 municipalities, and has also tied votes in first place in another 24.

Cartagena (Murcia) is, among these, the one with the highest census (153,042 voters), but it has also succeeded in winning in Algeciras (Cádiz), Ceuta, Roquetas de Mar (Almería) and Valdemoro (Madrid). Among the municipalities with more than 10,000 registered, its best result has been obtained in Torre-Pacheco (Murcia), with 38% of the votes for candidates.

The Socialists are first force in about 44% municipalities, while the Popular Party has won in 35% of the towns. For their part, the candidacies of United We have been the most voted in 56 municipalities, and have tied in another five. None of them reaches 10,000 registered.

One of the novelties of these elections, the candidacy of Teruel Existe, has expired in 40 of the 236 municipalities of the province, although among them they account for 41% of the census of said constituency. Más País, the candidacy led by Íñigo Errejón, has won in three municipalities, all of them in the Valencian Community, where correspondence with 28-A is given with Compromís.
