The alarm about a noise in the Norrby district of Borås came at 17:52, but when the police arrived, several people left the place in cars. According to witnesses at the scene, there must have been a rift between ten to fifteen people.
- Shortly thereafter, two men show up at the hospital in Borås with stab injuries, says Göran Carlbom, security officer at the police in the West region.
The police chose to block off the entrance to the hospital and have seized clothes.
- They are known to us since before and we assume that the two were involved in the brawl and can be linked to the whole thing. But now we are going to hold a hearing, says Göran Carlbom.
Since the police do not have a proper crime scene identified, there is no reason to call technicians to the scene in Norrby. On the other hand, witnesses are brought in for questioning, both from the site in Norrby and outside the hospital where there has been concern about the emergency room.
- The question is if anyone wants to talk to us. That is the problem that we are facing right now.
At present, no person is deprived of liberty. The incident is being investigated as an attempted murder.
