It was last Saturday that the Danish police struck and arrested a number of people at a rest stop in Jutland. The arrested were traveling in a Swedish-registered car, a witness told Ekstrabladet.

On Saturday, Swedish police arrested three people in the Gothenburg area in the same case. They will be requested to be extradited.

The police in Sweden do not comment on the proposal but refer to the Danish police. According to a press release from the Danish police, the background to the arrests is "a larger international investigation into particularly complicated and cross-border crime".

The suspicions do not apply to terrorist offenses, a spokesman for the Danish police told Aftonbladet on Saturday.
