• 10-N. General elections, minute by minute
  • Album: The election night in pictures

The non-palliative collapse of Citizens has swept the main leaders of the formation of the Congress of Deputies. Of the 16 members of the Permanent Executive Committee of Cs - the address closest to Albert Rivera - 10 were deputies. Of them, they lose their seat up to six leaders.

The Parliamentary Group of Cs, which falls from 57 to 10 seats, will be decimated in this way not only in number, but also in political potential.

The 'number two' of Cs and general secretary, José Manuel Villegas, does not get his seat by Almeria. Nor does the secretary of Organization and candidate for Granada, Francisco Hervías, nor the secretary of Institutional Action and deputy for Barcelona José María Espejo-Saavedra. The one who was the general secretary of the Parliamentary Group, Miguel Gutiérrez, does not get his minutes and the one who was deputy spokesman in the lower house, Melisa Rodríguez, either.

Juan Carlos Girauta, a symbol for Citizens that was presented by Toledo, also leaves the General Courts. The collapse is so monumental that some of Albert Rivera's main signings for the April elections are also left out of the San Jerónimo Race. This is the case of State lawyer Edmundo Bal, who does not enter as four for Madrid. Nor will the former socialist leader Joan Mesquida, who was presented by the Balearic Islands, be deputy. The secretary of Equality, Patricia Reyes, who was 'number five' for Madrid, also loses her minutes.

In fact, the only leaders of reference of Cs that get in the elections of November 10 are Albert Rivera himself and the newcomer Marcos de Quinto for Madrid and Inés Arrimadas and Fernando de Páramo for Barcelona.
