Sunday in Bolivia began with the departure of the South American States' cooperative organization OAS and informed that the election in which Morales was re-elected had not been right.

- They mean that he may well have won in the first round but not with the margin presented, and that they would therefore need a second round, says Tigran Feiler.

Moraels then went out and said he wants the election to be made again - a new election.

- But it did not calm the opposition which continues with its demands that he resign, Tigran says.

As a result, the military demanded that he retire, which he accepted.

The crucial role of the military

Tigran Feiler says that Latin America has a history of the military playing a crucial role in critical situations.

"This is a dramatic development in many ways, not least because the military plays such a crucial role," he says.

What does it mean that Morales resigns?

- It is very unclear what will happen in Bolivia, says Tigran Feiler.
