Socialist Party leads parliamentary elections in Spain

The Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOI) leads parliamentary elections in Spain after processing 80% of the ballots.

It is reported by RIA Novosti.

It is noted that the People’s Party is in second place, and the extreme right-wing VOX party is in third place.

According to current statistics, currently leading socialists get 122 seats in the congress of deputies out of 350. This means that they will not be able to independently approve the prime minister and will have to negotiate with other political forces that have gone to the lower house.

In September, the leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party, Pedro Sanchez, announced that early parliamentary elections in the country would be held on November 10.
