10 November 201923.02 In Romania the outgoing head of state, the conservative Klaus Iohannis, is in the lead in the first round of the presidential elections, according to what emerges from the first data released by the electoral commission. It would greatly benefit the Social Democratic candidate, the former premier Viorica Dancila, and the liberal Dan Barna. If no one gets 50% of the votes, the two most voted will go to the runoff on November 24th.
