Yemen's Houthi group leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi has threatened to strike "harshest strikes" on Saudi Arabia unless "aggression" ceases, coinciding with a report documenting more than 25,000 Houthi abuses against civilians in Sanaa in three years.

In a speech on the occasion of the celebration of the Prophet's birthday, Al-Houthi said that "the continuation of aggression means that we continue to develop our military capabilities of all kinds, and to direct the harshest blows that we can direct as deterrence to stop the aggression against us, and this is a legitimate right."

Al-Houthi called on Saudi Arabia to stop what he described as aggression and blockade and respect for the right of neighboring countries, adding, "Otherwise, the risks of continuing the aggression are great and the consequences for you are dire.

On the other hand, a human rights report for the Human Rights Office in Sana'a revealed that the Houthis have committed more than 25,700 violations against civilians in Sana'a since the beginning of 2017, the most serious of which recorded 274 cases of shooting directly or under torture, as well as injuries from torture more than one hundred status.

On the occasion of the release of the report in Marib in southern Yemen under the title "Under the line of oppression," Minister of State Secretary of the capital Abdul Ghani Jamil called on the United Nations and human rights organizations to put pressure on the Houthis to stop their violations.

Government of Aden
In another context, the Yemeni Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday the resumption of all its work in the interim capital Aden (southern) starting today.

The Foreign Ministry will be the first legitimate government ministry to resume operations after all ministries have been suspended since August due to fighting between the government and the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the resumption of its work in Aden comes in accordance with the directives of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi on the immediate action to implement the Riyadh agreement signed Tuesday between the government and the Transitional Council.
