The national average is 31.5 years. The oldest in Östergötland are the fathers in Linköping where they are located on the national section. In Gotland, the average age is 31.1 years for first-time fathers.
Statistics Sweden, Statistics Sweden, has produced the figures.
- There has been no dramatic increase in the average age in the 2000s. Men are, on average, a couple of years older than women, and this is because in couple relationships men are generally older than women, says Johan Tollebrant, demographer at Statistics Sweden, in a press release.
