A new clash is coming in the Parliament between the claims of independence and legality. The Government has requested today the Constitutional Court to cancel the admission to process of the resolution of the CUP on the self-determination that the Catalan Chamber executed last week and that its president, Roger Torrent, has included in the plenary agenda that It will be held next week.

In the motion, the radical independence party urges the Chamber to express its "willingness to exercise the right to self-determination concretely." Despite repeated warnings from the TC to the Mesa del Parlament and Torrent himself, the governing body of the Catalan legislative assembly admitted the resolution of the CUP on October 29 and, today, minutes after the Government went to the TC, Torrent has officially convened the Plenary session on November 12 and included in the agenda the resolution of the antisystem.

After officially calling the Plenary session, the president of the Parliament has criticized through social networks the decision of the acting Government chaired by Pedro Sánchez. "More judicialization, more threats and more censorship. But you will always find the same answer: in the Parliament of Catalonia you have to be able to talk about everything," said Torrent. Before the foreseeable cancellation of the admission to the CUP resolution for processing, the president of the Generalitat must decide between ignoring the High Court and incurring a crime of disobedience or breaching the word given to independence, when the past Week proclaimed: "We will not allow censorship to enter the Parliament", after being warned for the second time by the TC of the criminal consequences that would lead to promoting debates or voting related to secessionism.
