In less than 6 hours, Dubai Metro transports 60,000 passengers from the Dubai Running Challenge

The Dubai Metro has transported approximately 60,000 passengers from the Dubai Run Challenge (30,000 before the race and 30,000 after the race) from 4:30 am to 10:00 am, the RTA said. The arrival of participants in the challenge to the race site on Sheikh Zayed Road, where an estimated 43% of the metro transport to and from the site of the event, while 38% of participants arrived by private vehicles, and the rest reached by taxi, or walk.

The Authority said it had provided 10 double-decker buses to transport participants from the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) and Zabeel Dubai Mall positions.
