The explosive was in a nut can and there was also a gunpowder with apertured explosive capsule. The jar contained 1.5 kg of explosives. When asked how dangerous the bomb was for the other train passengers on board, Prosecutor Lotten Paulsson replies:

- According to the Swedish Defense Forces statement, an explosive charge of 0.5 kilos can destroy a two-room apartment.

According to the Armed Forces, it was a functioning, apertured explosive charge and the mode of transport is considered to have been particularly dangerous.

Had sharp weapons

In interrogation, the 19-year-old said that he had been in Malmö on behalf of another person to collect items that would be transported to Stockholm. In addition to the ap- propriate bomb, he also carried a sharpened gun.

31-year-old co-accused

Co-accused is a 31-year-old Malmöbo, who according to the prosecutor has handed the gun to the 19-year-old. He must also have transported or stored the explosive charge the same day.

The prosecution filed in Malmö District Court concerns serious weapons crime and preparation for general destruction, or serious violation of the Flammable and Explosive Goods Act.
