This was reported by Gromadske with reference to the press service of Ukrtransgaz.

“Now the station is ready to carry out reverse gas transportation in the event of a transit of blue fuel from Russia,” the company said.

The message says that the readiness of the Grebeniki station was checked and confirmed by representatives of the adjacent operator of the GTS Moldovagaz, by signing the corresponding act.

According to the company, the station can supply about 4 million cubic meters of gas in reverse mode from Romania and Moldova to Ukraine.

Gazprom said earlier that a new contract for gas transit from Russia through Ukraine is possible only if the two countries cancel their claims in the gas sphere.
