TGV trains circulating in eastern France, including those linking Strasbourg to Paris, will be removed Friday due to a strike movement of controllers related to issues of schedule changes, it was reported Wednesday from SNCF Grand Est.

The move "concerns controllers on the perimeter of the East TGV axis" as a whole and on which "three out of four trains will circulate" Friday, said a spokesman for SNCF Grand Est. Among these TGVs, those connecting Strasbourg to Paris will also be impacted, with "seven TGV out of ten that will circulate," she added, without being able to specify in the immediate future the number of trains removed.

This strike is part of the changes in services that occur each year in June and December, which change the working hours of railway workers, she added. "All the customers concerned by the possible trains that will not circulate have been pre-notified" and will know "if their train is running or has been deleted," she added.
