It was just before nine o'clock in the evening that two passenger cars crashed frontal at Mårbacken west of Torsby. When the emergency services arrived at the scene, one car was on the roof.

"The two who were in that car are out and will be transported to hospital fairly promptly," says Mats Moberg at the emergency services.

The other vehicle was still standing on all four wheels, but the driver was still stuck at half past ten.

- We need to cut the roof to get out the driver, says mats Moberg.

Ambulance and ambulance helicopters are on hand to take care of the injured.

- We must assume that this is a serious injury, says Mats Moberg.

In connection with the rescue operation, there is a total stop in traffic on the current route.
