Jordanian police have identified the suspect in the Jerash attack, saying he is Mohammed Abu Toaima, 22, and said he lives in a makeshift house on the outskirts of the city near a poor Palestinian refugee camp, where unemployment is high among many young people in the area.

The suspect's father, Mahmoud, 56, told Reuters television he was on the verge of a heart attack. He added that his son was a loser and his mind was disfigured.

Social media and many news sites focused on the life story of the attacker.

Mohammed was a fickle person and a fickle character from one extreme to the other.

However, his situation has changed recently, especially last year, and he became adored himself and inflated them, and then began to follow the advocates of extremists posting their pictures and videos on his personal page, after he was constantly mocking IS and other extremist organizations.

So far, it has not been announced whether Abu A'eima is a member of an extremist organization or faction.
