More than 1,600 migrants, nearly half of the occupants of insalubrious camps in northeastern Paris, were evacuated calmly Thursday morning during a major operation. Guest of Europe 1, the deputy of the 18th arrondissement of Paris Pierre-Yves Bournazel, candidate for mayor of Paris, greets these evacuations. But, he regrets, on the issue of migrants, "there has been a lack of willingness to work together", from Anne Hidalgo.

"Faced with the distress of men, women and children, we can not send the ball back," he adds.
