“The situation in Syria was discussed, including the development of the situation in the north-east of the country in the light of the implementation of the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding between Russia and Turkey of October 22, 2019, as well as the situation in the Idlib de-escalation zone,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
Earlier, Maas said that Germany is not yet ready to participate in the restoration of Syria.
At the same time, the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs outlined five points, the implementation of which, in the opinion of the department, can lead to stabilization of the situation in northern Syria.
