Jordan's King Abdullah II yesterday approved a reshuffle of Omar Razzaz's cabinet, including the appointment of 11 ministers and accepting the resignation of eight ministers.

The ministerial reshuffle included the appointment of 11 ministers, Mohieldin Shaaban Touq as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Tayseer Manizel Al Nuaimi, Minister of Education, Saleh Ali Al Kharabsheh, Minister of Environment, Ibrahim Sobhi Al Shehadeh, Minister of Agriculture, Mohammed Mahmoud Al Assas, Minister of Finance, and Amjad Odeh Al Adayleh, Minister of State for Information Affairs. .

The amendment also included the appointment of Mohammad Ahmad Al-Khalayleh as Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, on behalf of Mohammed Al-Tuwaisi as Minister of Culture, Faris Abdul Hafiz Al-Buraizat as Minister of Youth, Wissam Adnan Al-Rabadi as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, and Khaled Walid Saif as Minister of Transport.

The ministers were sworn in before King Abdullah II at the Husseiniya Palace.

The resignation of eight ministers was also accepted.

It is noteworthy that this amendment is the fourth introduced by Razzaz to his government, and Razzaz took office in June last year.
