- We got an alarm a fire in a concrete car underground in the mine, it was full fire, says Patrik Juhlin, internal commander, the rescue service.

At an early stage, the emergency services learned that there was a person missing in connection with the fire. That person had managed to get to a rescue chamber.

- From there, the person should now be put in complete safety, and then we can focus on extinguishing the fire.

The concrete truck was located 486 meters underground.

There is only one way out and one way into the mine tells the inner commander, but you can move sideways to different rescue chambers in the mine.

By 21.20 the effort had ended.

- We have got the person to safety and the fire is extinguished. One person went down to the person in the room and brought him out. Then it was no longer so dangerous with smoke in the mine, says Juhlin.

- There is a good ventilation system in the mine that you can control the smoke with, he says.

The concrete truck must be several hundred meters below ground, and it must be smoke that has caused the person to have to enter a rescue chamber.

At 21.20 the effort was completed.
