The queue times for emergency clinics are by far the largest in the metropolitan areas, but at Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg there has been a considerable upturn, writes Dagens Medicin, which has mapped the waiting times for the country's emergency clinics.

Now the wait is an average of just over four hours at Sahlgrenska, but the queue time has been cut by about 13 minutes on average compared to last year.

The longest wait in the country is at Norra Älvsborg County Hospital, Uppsala Academic Hospital and Skåne University Hospital.

The shortest queue time in the entire country has the hospitals in the north, with Gällivare hospital at the top, followed by Kiruna hospital and Lycksele laser. In Småland, waiting times are also relatively short, both Oskarshamns, Västerviks and Värnamo hospitals are ranked ten in the top list.
