06 November 201920.35 The obligation to install devices to prevent the abandonment of children in vehicles, the so-called anti-abandon seats, if they are transporting children under the age of 4 enters into force tomorrow, 7 November. The decree of the Ministry of Transport foresees that the devices "must activate automatically and be equipped with an alarm that warns the driver of the presence of the child in the vehicle", through signals that are "perceptible to the inside and outside". Sanctions are provided for those who will not be equipped with such devices.
