Dibba Fujairah court has considered a Gulf case accused of causing the death of seven of its sons during a fire that broke out in her house two years ago.

The court ordered the mother to cause the death of seven of her children as a result of inhaling carbon dioxide after a fire broke out in the house hall in January last year. The victims inhaled poisonous gas from the burning of the living room sofa, and the fact that the only room door leading out of the house was closed, poisoning all the children without being able to save themselves or go out for help.

In January last year, a fire broke out in a house in Fujairah, resulting in the death of seven children (four daughters, including two twin girls and three boys), aged between five and 15, as a result of smoke suffocation.

Dibba Fujairah police operating room received a notification at 5:40 am from a mother stating that her house was burned while her children were inside the house. The seven children were found dead, but the report was received late after the ignition, making it difficult for the children to survive.

The court faced the mother with the charges against her.
