It is reported by TASS with reference to the Kiselevsky city court.
“The investigating authorities issued a petition (for arrest. - RT ), the petition was granted, (the suspect was selected as a preventive measure in the form of) detention for 1 month and 29 days, until January 1, 2020,” the court said.
Earlier in the Kemerovo region, two people were detained after the murder of the former Lavrentiev. One of them was immediately arrested.
According to investigators, Lavrentyev was killed on the night of November 1, when he went out with a gun to check who made his way into his yard. The body of another man with a gunshot wound was also found next to the body of the ex-mayor at the scene of the incident.
A criminal case was opened on the fact of the murder.
