It was on October 18 that a villa in Sävsjö suffered major damage as a result of an explosion and the national bomb shelter was called to the site. Two people were in the house but no one was injured.

Just over two weeks later another explosion occurred, this time outside an apartment building in Växjö. No one was injured there either, but the house was damaged as a result of the explosion.

May be related

Smålandposten believes that there may be a connection between the two blasts. According to information provided by the magazine, there is a family relationship between those living in the villa and the apartment. What the motive could be, however, is unclear.

The police do not want to comment on Smålandposten's information.
