"Within the framework of the joint security plan, a force from the Directorate General of Public Security removed the protesters' tents at the Sassine Square roundabout in Ashrafieh, Beirut, and reopened roads to citizens," the General Directorate of Public Security said in a statement.

The demonstrators flocked yesterday evening to the usual demonstrations from Beirut to Tripoli in the north, and fishing in the south, carrying Lebanese flags, chanting the slogan: «Revolution .. Revolution».
