Police say to TT that the man, who is in his 60s, was traveling behind the logging car in Skärblacka outside Norrköping when the log suddenly came loose. The car went down the ditch after being hit by the log.
"He complained of back pain, but he got out of the car on his own, so it seems to have gone well considering the circumstances," said Martin Detterström, police officer on duty.
The lumber truck continued to drive after the accident, and the police have not yet found it.
- The patrols are still on the scene and have not reported what the crime rate will be, says Detterström.
