The alarm about the fire came just before half past eight on Monday morning. At 7.39am, the rescue service started smoke diving, according to information from the Nerike fire department.
"A deceased man has been found in the villa that the rescue service has carried out," says Kenneth Johannesson, press informant at the Örebropolis police.
The rescue service's forces from Frövi, Lindesberg and Vedevåg are in place to extinguish the fire. Ambulance and police are also on site.
